Students

Denise can guide you whether you are a Transition Year Student, a Senior Cycle Student or a Third Level Student.

Transition Year Students

It can be difficult trying to choose subjects for the Leaving Certificate, never mind trying to imagine yourself in a career when you are finished school.

Yet it is very exciting to discover courses leading to careers that would really suit you and then it becomes easier to focus on study and easier to imagine yourself in that career in the future.

The best subjects to choose for Senior Cycle are the ones that we enjoy the most and those in which we are likely to do well.  However, we must also consider the subject requirements for third-level courses that we may choose.  For example, some courses require two science subjects.  Other courses need higher level maths.

Once we know the kinds of courses and careers that are most suited to you, subject choice then becomes very straightforward.

Denise can guide you expertly through this process which involves the following: –

  • Career Guidance Interview/Discussion
  • Psychometric assessments and detailed feedback.
  • Demonstration of the best tools available to the student for course and career research.
  • Suggestion of subjects based on the analysis of all of the information collected.
  • Comprehensive report with findings and recommendations on career areas for serious consideration.
